What is the price of nostalgia?
The price of a chili, cheese and onion hot dog with a root beer float at Mark's Hot Hogs. -

Every time i go down this road, I've always wondered about this place. I kept thinking that this place was closed since it looked so vintage and I barely see any cars. I only found this place due to Yelp and wanted to give it a try. I especially was interested in their nachos and jalapeños. Their menu is quite limited with the essentials but thats ok.
The nachos gave me this sense of nostalgic feeling back to my childhood. I haven't found a place that gave me that same great taste and also bringing me back to that childhood memory. I have to say that this place did it! Not only that a plate of it was like $4.95. Its a perfect if you want to share it with someone or if you want you can eat it all on your own. Its pretty big in my opinion. Their chili cheese dog is good too and cost like $4.95 as well.
I would definitely come back to this place again for their nachos and possibly try their other items on their menu. They do have a carhop service and seating areas outside to eat. Classic vintage style. -

I've been going to Mark's Hot Dogs since I was a kid and I will never get tired of it! I love their chili cheese dogs and French fries. They're seriously the best in San Jose. Their iconic orange shaped building forever has a piece of my heart.

You really can't miss Mark's Hot Dogs. Just look for the orange dome!
Mark's Hot Dogs is a true staple of E$$J. It is cheap, good, and simple enough to satisfy your oily and fatty craving. It's better than the iconic Caspers in the East Bay... (Totally not being biased) haha.
I ordered a chili cheese hot dog. It tasted good but they forgot to put cheese even though I asked for it (whomp, whomp, whooomp). My S/O ordered the same along with a shake. He didn't like it although he did mention that it probably would have tasted better if we ate it right away.
There were two ladies that helped us that night. They looked like they didn't want to work there but whatever, I just want my food lol. Anyways, ordering is very simple. There's a large menu outside the orange dome. You pay and either sit and wait for the ladies to deliver your food to the car or sit on their benches.
Good place to stop by if you're ever in the area. -

For the price of their hot dogs you would expect fresh buns, and better service!, but NO the lady taking orders was RUDE! They should be buying bigger bags as well for take out, they shoved 4 hot dogs in one bag to the point it ripped
